2000 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my car makes a tapping noise or a small nocking noise only while car is in park noise is only when RPM s are increased this noise is not heard while in drive when engine speed is increased

Both engine and transmission increase oil pressure with increased RPM's. If your oil is ok in both, try to use a listening device to localize the noise at either the transmission pan or top of the engine valve covers. A stethescope or long extension bar at your ear helps transfer the noise. Check the oil on both. ok
Tapping noises can turn into knocking noises quickley. May need servicing.
