2000 Dodge Intrepid i put in the sparks plugs but it didnt

i put the car into drive and when leaving it makes a jerking pull and then goes...will only go about 30 mph then the rpm reaches up to 4...the car feels like a pull...what is wrong with it??? help...

Check if the exhaust system is restricted to rule out the catalytic converter
