2000 Dodge Intrepid car quits

My car when driving it at about 80 mph justs quits and drops down to about 50 and then restrarts like it has run out of gas

Have you checked or replaced the fuel pump? Also, have you checked fuel pump pressure? Here is a how to for checking them:
