Engine problem
2000 Dodge Intrepid Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Automatic 170000 miles

When I try to start the car, the display lights all blink and I hear a corresponding intermittant sound from the car. It doesn't even begin to turn over. It doesn't seem to be a battery issue. What is wrong with it?

Try your headlghts, are they nice and bright?
If your battery voltage is low your dash lights can do all kinds of wierd things.
Check your battery voltage if you have a volt meter
If not try and boost it and see if the results are the same.
Respond with results.
