i would like to ask the question of y my car brokewown and wont start back up for me. i was on the interstate going about 80 then i got cut off and had to hit my brakes and pull into the fast lane then when i tried to speed back up my engine killed on me and i was stuck in the median the engine turns but doesnt turn over and start just cranks. it wounds fine no irregularities but wont come on. the advice i got from some cooworkers was that it mite be my fuel pump or i mite have a failsafe switch to cut my fuel off if it got to full im not sure wat any of that means i konw nothing about cars. could you please give me some insite or answers? thank you very much greatly appreciated!

Normally there are two reasons why a car won't start. Either fuel of spark isn't making it to the engine. Hitting the brakes shouldn't have had an affect on either, but I need you to check to see which is missing so I can further advise.

If you need directions or help doing this, let me know.
