A few months ago I had my oil changed at a national chain and after wards I started having engine problems. My car will start fine and run fine but when I have several errands to run and have to turn my car on and off several times it starts to give me problems. Usually by the third or fourth stop (all in fairly short distances) the car will turn over fine but as soon as the RPMs start to go to idling they drop and the car shakes and sputters and then dies. I have learned that if I floor the gas and keep the RPM's super high that it will stay running but the minute I let the RPMs fall it dies. It also does this when I have to drive long distances (30 min or more). Unless I give my car a couple of hours it will not immediately start back up.
