On occasion I'll go out to go somewhere and it wont start. It turns over fine and seems to try to start but won't. I've had it towed in to the deler and it starts fine for them. No real ryme or reason. It runs great, no codes, just won't start sometimes. Only possible thought is that it seems to happen when the weather is rainy.

When was the last time it was tuned up? The most common cause is plug wires. In the dark, start the car, open the hood, and using your garden hose, mist water on the plug wires, distributor cap. In the dark, watch for arcing and if it dies, pay attention as to where you were spraying.

Let me know what you find.

A tune up was done in January by a repair shop, new plugs, wires, etc. I don't know if the distribuiter cap was changed. I thought it fixed it but after a few weeks it happened again.

Just for the heck of it, try what I said. It could even have to do with a coil. If it shorts when it gets wet, you'll see it in the dark.
