We are having problems with water not getting to the top of the engine and it over heating. We release the pressure thing and all that comes out is steam, but when it over heats, liquid doesn't come out. Can you help us with this problem?

Are you sure the cooling system is full? It sounds low on coolant. When the engine is coold, open the radiator, start the engine with the heater on and wait until the thermostat opens. You should see the coolant flowing through the radiator. If the level drops, add coolant. When you are sure it is full, open the bleeder (if you have one) or loosten the return line from the heater core to eliminate air pockets.

Let me know if that helps.
