I've had a check engine engine light triggered in my car for months now. It didnt seem to run bad so I ignored it (I know it wasnt a smart thing to do). Well a few weeks ago out of the blue it started losing power off and on when I stepped on the gas. I commute about 20 miles to work and it didnt start till about the final 3 miles. Figuring I was going to have the same trouble on the way back home I figured i'd give it a futile effort it's cheaper than a tow. It did'nt seems to act up much till about five miles before I got home. Wanting to know what I was dealing with and see if I could potentially fix it myself I got my hands on a diagnostic tool and the codes came back were p0432, p1391, and p0356. After searching a bit on it and trying to see if they were related to one another or if one paticular code was causing the bulk of my trouble I came to the conclusion I have no idea and was just making educated guesses from my limited knowledge of cars. Wondering if I was in over my head I considered whether or not to just take it somewhere but when I went to start it yesterday it would crank but not start. Any insights as to where to start and what my problem could be would be much appreciated

The 1391 has nothing to do with your car. I'm not sure why it is coming up. I need to know if you are getting spark to the plugs. Something tells me either you lost spark due to a bad coil, wiring issue to it, or a bad connection. The catalyst code could be the result of a weak spark.

Check that and let me know what you find.
