My engine blew about 7 years ago, I took the car into be looked at and was told to fix the following: timing chain and damage the broken chain had caused as well as the engine.

This car has been parked outside in Michigan weather for approximately 5 years. What extra damage may the weather have possibly caused this vehicle?

Approximately how much do you estimate these repairs being?

Thank yoU!

Hi:
What damage did the timing chain cause? Also, the weather won't hurt anything, but sitting sometimes causes fuel and brake lines to rust. Other things such as calipers, wheel cylenders, gaskets... may fail from rust or corrosion from sitting. Just give a good inspection.

As far as the engine, I need to actualy know what needs replaced, but a rough est. would be around 2K for a rebuild.
