Cruse was intermittent would set and resume. After time the dash light goes out and quits working. Is this a function of the PCM. Dodge dealer does not know and cannot fix problem.

Usually cruise control problem is caused by either vacuum leak or bad speed servo.

The unit stops working when the dash light goes out. For a time if the engiine was shut off and restarted it would work again. Now the dash light does not come on at all, that's why I think it is electrical. Both speed sensors have been replaced for shifting problems.

Do the easiest thing first. Check fuse #1 at the end of driver side dash. You may also want to check the cruise clock spring.

While it may seem electrical, I would still check the servo and its vacuum. The PCM uses the info from the servo to actually make the cruise controller work.
