1999 Dodge Intrepid Compressor

I just had a refurbished compressor put on my 1999 Dodge Intrepid and not even a mile down the road, the clutch locked up. What could have been the problem? The blower motor resistor was also replaced.

if the compressor was not installed correctly (i.e. filled with proper oil and level) then that could lead to the clutch locking up.
