Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 3.2L that will not start. The auto shutdown relay keeps activating even if the key is not in the ignition. I have changed the crankshaft position sensor but the car still will not turn over.

Have you replaced the auto shutdown relay? Will the engine crank?

Hi:
I need you to check for power to the starter. Have a helper turn the key to the start position and check the small wire at the starter. It should have 12 volts when the key is in the start position.
