my alt. Is putting out but, when everything is shutoff, why do I have spark when I pull the + cable and then put it back and it drains the batt. So I put a new batt. And see thankyou, teddy

There will always be a slight draw and small spark. However, I want you to try a draw check. Here is a how to.

If there is an excessive draw, remove one fuse at a time to determine what circuit is causing the draw.
