1997 Dodge Intrepid my car heats up with out the thermostha

i have a 97 dodge intrepid and when i started using it was fine but then temperature meter started going up and the water started boiling and started cooming back from the engine coolant and i took off the thermosthat 2months later it started doing the same thing but with out the thermosthat the water is boiling and cooming out from thhe engine coolant makin the car heat up what can i do?

Your cooling system is not maintaining the pressure. First thing to do is replace your radiator cap.

If that doesn't work, you need to perform block leak down test, to make sure that your head gasket is not blown.

Hello, just thought I would tell you what happened to my Dodge Intrepid it did the exact same thing....It was the cooling fans. They had frozen up and my car over heated on a trip to Florida
