1997 Dodge Intrepid Interior Instrument lighting

When I turn on my headlights the lights on all the instruments and radio led lights dim about half as bright. I've never noticed this before. Is it common or is there a problem. I have no low voltage light or any alarm lights.

If you never noticed it before, check your dimmer switch. Make sure that it is where it normally is. If it still dims even at the highest setting, you need to go to an auto parts store and have them test your electrical system.
