I recently found out that my 1997 Dodge Intrepid EGR Valve was giving out a code of EGR flow insufficient. I was told before I put alot of money into repairing this that I could possibly clean it. How do I go about doing that?

Unbolt and unhook the EGR valve and then clean the ports and the valve on the EGR itself and the ports on the manifold with a tubeing brush or somethign to fit in the ports, be sure to clean the mating surfaces and put on a new gasket.
