1997 Dodge Intrepid V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have replaced the cam sensor in my 1997 dodge intrepid 2 times randomly 3 months apart. Could you let me know why the cam sensor is still going bad?

Are you sure the sensor is bad and there isn't a wiring problem?
