1997 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl 80000 miles

my daughter is away at school. she calls to ask why all her dash gauges dont work. it has happened before but she "taps " on the glass and they jump to action. but this time that most technical solution proved fruitless. what should i tell her

Her technique sounds interesting... (LOL) Regardless, have her make sure the plugins behind the dash are tight. If they are, most likely the body control module (BCM) may have gone bad.
