My car leaks fluid from the right side of the engine on the passenger side. My overflow tank is empty once my car gets hot is that my water pump needs to be replaced? yes once it is hot the over flow tank is completely empty it rides well while still cold in the morning.

You need to identify where the leak is coming from in order for us to help-could be a freeze plug, radiator hose, heater hoses etc-
