1996 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 160k miles

I have a 96 Intrerpid that you can smell coolant when you trun on the heat. The car is also running hot. Do you think it may be the water pump?

Hi Drew,

If you are smelling inside the vehicle, check the floor on the passenger side if it is wet and smells like coolant then it is most likely your Heater Core gone bad.
