what is the best way to take the engine out of this car when the motor is froze up and you cant turn the flywheel to get the torque converter bolts out

Hi there,

If you can't lever the engine over, you may have to drop the sump and back off all the bearing caps, this may help.

Happened to my minivan. Connecting rod wrapped around stuff. I had to drop the transmission with the engine so I could pull them apart, but in your case, I bet you can lift the engine a little and pull it forward away from the transmission to get to the other flex plate bolts.

The recommendation mhpautos gave you will work too if the engine locked up due to spun bearings, but most likely not if it's due to a seized piston or broken rod.
