1996 Dodge Intrepid Failsafe???

Transmission problem
1996 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
Whenever I get over 40mph it stops shifting and goes into failsafe. Do I have a computer problem of a transmission problem?

I would check TCM for codes
very possible speed sensors
u have two input and output
I would replace them both
