1996 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a dodge intrepid 1996 and there's a light that says Check Engine that comes on in the dashboard? How can I fix that?

That is to let you know the vehicle's computer has detected a possible issue on one or more of the vehicle's systems. Does the light stay on when driving? If so, take to local auto part store and ask them to scan your vehicle for trouble codes. Most do it for free, post the code(s) you get and I will follow up.
