1995 Dodge Intrepid transmission wont go to overdrive

Transmission problem
1995 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

As i am driving my car shifts smoothly through every gear but doesn't seem to want to go into overdrive. It sometimes seems like a hesitation/slip. And i noticed that the rpms are running a little higher. Any advice?

Check for tranny codes
that will help in identifying the problem
check fluid make sure it clean
