I have been having troubles with my car starting. For a while it would just not start...it would take me several tries to get it to just turn over (I would have power as my lights and radio would work), it just wouldn't start on the first try. Now when I try to start it it acts like it is turning over, but it shakes and it acts like it isn't getting any gas. I will let it sit for a few minutes and sometimes it will start and sometimes it won't. I haven't had a day when it wouldn't start at all, but it seems that it is taking more and more tries to get it going. Could this be a starter problem? If so, is it very expensive to get a starter replaced?

Is the starter turning the engine? Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?

Let me know.
