1993 Dodge Intrepid fluctuating mpg

when i filled up with gas about a week ago my mileage dropped from about 20-25mpg to about 10-15 mpg. I filled up on thursday and now I have gotten about 20mpg since then. What do I need to do to get my mpg back up there? Do you know what the problem is?

Is it due for tune up
check fuel filler cap
check air filter and EGR valve

need manual CHECK IT @
