1993 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My cars instrument gauges goes out for about 2 days then when it feels like it they come back on. I have pulled the engine wiring off and went through it with A fine tooth comb. Whats real wierd is when it works you pull the battery cable off the instruments don't work for 2 days or more.

Your instrument panes has a circuit board behind it. And there's probably a crack in the circuit trace, corrosion on one of the terminals, or one of the resistors has failed.

If you're handy with a multi-meter and can access a wiring diagram for your cluster (with specs), then you can test it yourself.

If not, you'll have to either replace it or take it into a shop.

As old as your car is now, I'd thing it needs replacing anyway.
