1992 Dodge Dynasty Battery???

1992 Dodge Dynasty 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 43k miles

I have a 92 dodge dynasty with 43k original miles. Replaced the starter and when re-connectiong the battery negative went on first, while installing positve cable I got sparks which heated the connecter on the positive cable and scored the positve battery termina. Now no power?? What did I do?l

Hi:
You need to retrace the wiring you worked on. Something has shorted. Please be careful around the battery. Sparks could cause it to explode.

Let me know what you find.
