1991 Dodge Dynasty Car wont charge, alternator known to be

... unforunately i made the mistake of connecting the battery cable backwards , replaced the battery, then the alternator, car still wont charge, engine is the 3.3 V6 lot of miles but she still runs like a beast.

Will the vehicle start and run?

If that is a three wire connector at the alternator, the black wire is ground, the dark green wire is used by the computer to control charging voltage, with the engine running, there is a pulse on that wire. Dark green/orange or dark blue is B+ with the engine running.
