1989 Dodge Dynasty oil leak

hey , my engine is leaking oil when it is running , but seems to stop when the engine is off . i know the cam seals can go on the 3.0 v6 but could it be the valve covers as well ? thanks mike .

Hi there,

You will need to wash the engine down and run it and check for fresh signs of the leak, you should be able to back track the leak to its point of origin, if you have problems seeing this, ask your mechanic to look and advise.Rocker covers can often leak, check around the covers as well.
