Engine Cooling problem
1989 Dodge Dynasty

I turned off the car today after only a short drive (4/5 miles) and engine coolant started pouring out of the reservoir tap. Any ideas why this has happened, is this a major problem, and if so how do I solve it?

Thanks.

Obviously the car overheated and you need to determine the reason that happened. The most common reason is a slow steady coolant leak that causes it to overheat when it no longer has sufficient coolant for cooling. he first step is to fill the system back up and have it pressure tested to find the leak.
