I have a 1999 Dodge Durango with 113,000 miles, V8 5.2 engine. It idles up and down. It has a slow start and it feels like you're pulling a trailer and you're not. It cuts off frequently. You have to put the vehicle in nuetral so it won't cut off. The check gauges light comes on. It seems like the transmission is slipping. Can you help? I know dodge has a lot of problems with transmissions on their vehicles, I figure that some people have the same problems that I have. Do you know if they have had a recall for my vehicle. If so, I haven't been informed. Thanks.

no recalls would apply being that old , but if you have an engine light on have the codes checked before you replace anything

Sounds like you could use a tune-up. I had similar symptoms, changed plugs, wires, distributer cap and it runs great!
