For the past two months my truck has had a wierd noise and I always suspected that it was a pulley. Just yesturday I drove out of my garrage and the engine stalled while having the ac on. The engine lite turned on so I turned the vehicle off. I started it up again without the ac on and the truck was fine. The next day the engine lite has turned off and I've used my truck with ac and without, but I know it's will happen again it's a matter of time. Do I need to replace the ac compressor or is it just a cluch or something? Do you think it might just need more refrigerant?

Does the noise sound like a belt squeal?
