all other windows continue no problem. Front passenger window gave no warning just stopped going up. Went down once and will make slight clicking sound as tried taking window to down position. No noise or anything trying to raise window. No forewarning, no slowly going up as indicator of future problem with motor. Just stopped one day.

Hi rbjohnstun. Welcome to the forum. Since there is no sound, suspect a broken wire between either of the front door hinges. In past years there were two wires that went from the right front switch to the driver's switch so there could be broken wires by either door. For quite a while now there has been a Body Computer involved to complicate the circuit.

Although not common, it is possible for the motor to be locked up either because it is defective or due to the cable becoming tangled or frayed. A quick check you can do is to watch the dome light when you press the RF window switch. If the light dims a little, that indicates the motor is drawing current so it should be running. If you don't hear the motor running, it is locked up. If the light doesn't dim, suspect the wires first. The switches are not a likely suspect because one of them would make the motor run in one direction.
