2005 Dodge Durango car wont move

driving car and trans went in to l;ike neutral it doesnt move in any gear or reverse. trans mskes a whirrring sound like maybe has bad torque converter. trans did not slip or have any problems before.

Sounds liek it may have had an internal failure of some sort, especially if you can hear the pump whining.I take it the fluid level is correct, no leaks that may have caused this.You may want to have a shop scan the PCM to see if it has recorded any faults in the trans, they dont always set the check engine light
