my 2004 dodge durango just went crazy when i tried
to start it it didnt start locks started locking and unlocking cd changer started changing cds horn went off among other things now it doesnt even turn over as soon as key is turned panel lights flicker
locks start going crazy, we did have a recall notice a while back for integrated circuit in instrument cluster
possibly over heating and could cause a fire but we never took it in could this be related if it is will dealer
fix it no charge and if its not related what could be
the problem

Check the battery. All of these things sounds like a dead cell in the battery or dirty / corroded cable connections. The voltage across the two battey posts must be around 12.6 volts when the engine is not running.
