how do i install a water ump on my 2003 dodge durango car is over heating already replaced the top hose and cap and it still over heats

What is the engine type? 4.7 or 5.9 L?

Have you confirmed that the water pump is the cause?
Did you check the thermostat?
Do you have coolant losses issues?
Does overheating occur under specific circumstances only?
