While driving I notice that there is a surge in the RMPs and this causes the car to feel as though it has a caugh you can feel the loss and surge of power. It also did this once fright as I started it. I started the engine and watched the rpms move up and down as if I were pressing the gas up and down but I was touching nothing. Once I pressed the accellerator it stopped and rested at it's nomal idle. Maybe it's possessed? It's odd too because it does not always do this. When it does, its scarry; transmission? Linkage? I just don't know and I would like to have an Idea before it gors in for repair.

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

If the light is on, you should have the computer scanned. Most parts stores will do it for free. Let me know what you find.
