2003 Dodge Durango Starts hard when car sits

The engine cranks over a lot unless you turn the key forward to engage the pump. Wait for a couple seconds and then it starts right up. The car runs without any issues...no loss of power.

Sounds like a fuel pressure problem. Either a weak pump or failing pressure regulator. Follow link below for test proceedure....
