My abs light is currently on and the shifter is stuck in park, and the steering wheel will not lock after the Durango is turned off. Do you have any idea what might be casuing this? I am able to release the shifter by pushing a lever under the rubber boot of the shifter.

Hi:
Don't laugh, but are the brake lights working?

Let me know.

Yes the lights are working. I found a work around though. I just removed the rubber boot at the bottom of the shifter and pushed in the release mechanism. The lock pushes right in and the abs light eventually goes back off. It seems to only happen when it gets really cold, below freezing.
