2001 Dodge Durango, 5.9 ltr, v8, 4x4. the same incompetent mechanic (which my warranty co. approves of) Oh Sorry!
already replaced water pump 2x, radiator, belt, hoses,& i believe the fan clutch.
Question - i was informed that the auxillary fan was standard factory equipment (which i dont have to pay for!) its 'diconected'currently leading to OVERHEATING, its 110degrees in AZ.
ok, who has to pay for the fan?

Hi Lisa:

I'm not sure I understand. Was the fan disconnected or the fan motor bad? I will tell you this from experience, the companies that offer these warranties know all the ins and outs of what causes problems. The word everything in the policy so it protects them from paying for repairs.
