I am changing the water pump on a 2000 Dodge Durange V8 5.9 Liter. The bypass hose that connects to the water pump is baked on. I would like to change the bypass hose but not sure how to access it. How can i change the hose?

Hello

If it is baked on and you are going to replace it (which I always do while I am there, the directions state
13. Loosen clamp at water pump end of bypass hose . Slip bypass hose from water pump while removing pump from vehicle. Discard old gasket. CAUTION: Do not pry water pump at timing chain case/cover. The machined surfaces may be damaged resulting in leaks.

If you can not break it loose, I cut the old off since I am replacing it anyway.
