I just recently replaced the thermostat because the old one locked shut. I though that by replacing it that that would fix my heater problem. I am just curious as to whether or not I need to replace my heater core. It takes quite a while for my vehicle's heater to actually start blowing hot air. and it doesnt even blow hot air on the defroster seetting.
