2000 Dodge Durango Stuck in a Neutral Position

2000 Dodge Durango V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Put Durango in Neutral and shifted out of Low 4WD back into 2WD and it wouldn't shift. Now truck stuck in a neutral position and Drive shifter just moves "freely" up and down from High 4 to Low 4?

Hi:
check under the truck near the transfercase to determine if the linkage is disconnected.
