I had a problem 2000 Dodge Durango (5.9), I started it up, had a rough idle and it stalled-could not restart it. So we replaced crank position sensor, map sensor, cap and rotor. We got it started but the only way we did was to leave the pcv value disconnected. It does run poorly at times with it off, when it s running we put it back on and it stalls. We had the battery disconnected so its not showing any codes just like before with the 1st problem we had. Any ideas to this new problem Help!

Hi:
If you pull a spark plug out, is it black? To me it sounds like it is running too rich and when you allow extra fresh air to enter the intake, it starts / leans out. Is the PCV valve good? Have you checked the ambient temp sensor?
