2000 Dodge Durango power steering fluid wicking thru wiring

I have been told that if power steering fluid wicks thru harness that you must replace all wiring to stop it and that eventually your vehicle will just stop operating.

Replace the part where the fluid is coming from, typically the speed-proportional steering valve on the rack and pinion assembly. It is bolted to the rack on the driver's side, to the right of the steering shaft. It's easier to get to if you remove the brake master cylinder. He has flexible lines so you don't have to take them off.
