Where is the neutral safety switch located on the transmission. I understand that due to the bad neutral safety switch the Durango does not start when in Park and the gears slip. Thanks in advance

Right where the shifter linkage is on the transmission. The thing that has a bunch of wires going to it. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

So did they tell you it was supposed to fit/work? Go get your old NSS back and try it?

Yes they told us that it would fit. We have the old NSS but it doesn't fit. It has a 1in. Mount and the hole is a 3/4 in. I need to know if there is an adaptor for the wiring or if I can buy a new NSS that will mount to the 3/4 in. Hole (and if so does it have the wire labels)
