2000 Dodge Durango Engine Electric Fan does not turn off

Where could the relay be for the electric fan that sits by the radiator and what is it for?.. .fan keeps going when engine is turned off

The radiator fan relay should be under the hood, in the power distribution center. When the relay is energized, it sends voltage to the radiator fan. Can you check for any applicable trouble codes? I'd have to check the wiring circuits at the relay, to be sure.
