battery voltage is to low p1682 , one day my car died took the alternator to get tested and battery the alt they said was good the baterry bad, replaced battery good for a couple days voltage still drops and i will turn the car off and it goes back up and i drive for a couple minutes and voltage meter back down i repeat and same thing happens. then replaced belt looked at tensioner it looked good, belt seemed to help at first than it does the same voltage drop and i turn it off and on twice and know i cant get it to drop any ideas would help!! thought about replacing the alt even though it tested good

Can you tell me if the voltage regulator is on the alt on your vehicle or if it is part of the PCM?
